Summery

After a whirlwind five-week courtship, Dr. Elizabeth Douglas --- stable, logical, cautious Elizabeth Douglas
finds herself engaged to Nail Anderson, one of Albuquerque's most eligible bachelors. Elizabeth still
can't believe that the son of New Mexico oil baron would interested in someone from such a humble origins. But she is determined to blend into his jet-set world as much as possible --- even if that means taking flying lessons.
Elizabeth can observe the most grueling surgery with ease, but the thought of going up in a tiny private plane makes her stomach churn.
Her apprehension is immediately apparent to her new flight instructor, Dan Lawrence.
Dan seems keenly attuned to everything she is feeling and suddenly, fear of flying is the least of Elizabeth's problems!
Dan is like no man she ever met---- Handsome, caring, gentle--- and he seems to understand her in a way no one else dose.
But she's already made a promise to Nail.
Is it a promise she'll be able to keep?
